Passing through the scenery of the First World War, the Tour of the Trenches is a perfect time travel that will reward you with a magnificent view over the Sella Group and over the glacier of Marmolada. This challenging but fascinating fixed-rope route (via ferrata) winds through the ruins of Austrian fortifications, trenches and galleries. Every stone hear is a witness of the tough past that can narrate the history of the Great War from quite a different perspective. Losing the sense of time and space is common here: just stop for a while and contemplate the rugged skyline that draws a truly breath-taking landscape.
